First community service - Chariofare

On the 22nd September 2012, IMU had organized an IMU run and a chariofare. We PC1/11 students accompanying by several lecturers were represented PC department which took part in one of the booths. We were selling food and some recycled things. The food that we were selling on that day were hot dog buns, sweet corns, nasi briyani, indian pastry and so on. The recycled things that we had are the handmade soap, recycled bag and some different recycled crafts by PC1/11 students.

On that day, around 15 of us were volunteered to involve in this event, and thus we were divided into morning and afternoon shifts. Among the entire shift, we were further divided into selling group and preparation group. I was took part in the afternoon shift and was helping in the preparation group to prepare the hot dog buns and sweet corns for selling.

We kept on preparing the food until 4pm. Finally, we had sold out all our food and crafts. It was so happy that we had collected a total sale of around RM1500. We helped to clean up the booth and we took a photo with our PC booth.

This is my very first community service and it was FUN!! ^^
