Ballet~ ♥

I had helped my friend, Ms. Sim You Wen to teach ballet on 28th November 2012 at Victoria Dance Art. Ballet is a type of performance dance and a basic for all kinds of dance. It requires years of training and master, and also much practice to retain proficiency. Ballet is not a sport, but a performance using our body language. It helps to build flexibility and agility, as well as the coordination of body movement with the music. Other than that, ballet also train the ballerina to be self-discipline by developing routines of steps and positions. Anyone can enjoy the beauty and grace of ballet dancing. 
                  

The class that I taught is a primary class for children who just started learning ballet. Once I reached there, I saw a few girls there and they are all so young and active. I started worry that how I should treat and control them during the class. Ms. Sim asked them to go into the dance class. First, she introduced me to them that I was a volunteer of the day and was responsible to correct them when they were doing wrongly. To be a good dancers, flexibility is very important so the class started with some stretching exercises.  
After some stretching exercises, then we started with the syllabus. There are divided into group of two, which are one group of 3 and another group of 4. They were all preparing for their dancing exam so Ms. Sim was so strict to them. They tried their best and listened to all the corrections from Ms. Sim and I. Although they were getting scolded by Ms. Sim but still they danced together happily. 



 I LOVE BALLET SO MUCH!! ♥
