We went to SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at Ampang, Selangor. SPCA is an animal welfare organisation which helps to protect and take care of the animals. I had went there for 4 days which are 8th, 12th, 13th and 14th November 2012. We went there by taking LRT from Sri Petaling. It took about 45 minutes to reach the Ampang LRT station and we walked about 20-30 minutes to SPCA.
The first time I stepped into the SPCA, what I can hear is just the dogs' bark. I was thinking how many dogs will there?? When we went in, there are few dogs came around us. It was so scary and I was just stood straight there without moving. After some times, I tried to get myself near to them and they are not that scary like what I was thinking. During the four days, we were asked to do the same thing. What we had done there were cleaning the cage, changing newspaper and refilling their drinking water for each cage.
After changing and cleaning job, is the happy hour for the dogs which is their lunch!! The worker of SPCA prepared the food for dogs and we were helping her to distribute all the food for the dogs.
